We consider this species as rather
'suspect' while the differences between it and
Delphinium elatum L. are not well defined (they imply only the
leaf form). A more thorough study upon the taxon is needed which
probably will turn this endemic species into a variety, a
subspecies or a mere synonym. Here and
here
there are some good photographs of Delphinium elatum
L. to clearly see the great similarities between the
two.
